This weight bracket is for John Deere X700 Series Tractors using the front Quick Hitch. This bracket can hold up to 5 John Deere 42lb suitcase weights netting an additional 232lbs (combined with bracket weight) to the front of your X7 while using front attachments. This additional front weight is game-changing for steering authority especially when plowing snow, dirt, or gravel.
The bracket is made of 1/4” steel, with 3/8” steel for the weight plate and weight stops, reinforced welds on the weight plate, and 5/8” grade 8 attachment bolts. It’ll take a beating!
These brackets are available in either bare unpainted steel, genuine JD green, or genuine JD black, HVLP sprayed for a smooth even finish. Note: Bare brackets will not include decals or data plate.
As a new revision to the originally one-off JGG bracket, this new design of the weight stops allows for attachment of an optional light kit. It includes 2 LED flood lights*, plug and play wiring, and brackets. The lights as ordered will plug into your tractor’s 12v outlet, which is then controlled by the 12v rocker switch on your dash. The light kit brackets will match your weight bracket in color and raise the lights about 12” above the weight bracket for better visibility over front implements.
